VASERlipo Before and After

What is VASERlipo?

VASERlipo is a form of ultrasonic liposuction. After a few incisions have been made in the skin surrounding the target areas, the device produces pulsing ultrasound waves. These soundwaves disrupt the bonds within fat cells, causing them to break down. Fatty tissue can then be removed with minimal risk of damaging muscle and other soft tissue beneath the skin. Fluid and drains may be used to assist in the fat removal process and recovery. If you have any concerns, these will be discussed during a consultation with our friendly and professional staff.

Aftercare advice following ultrasound liposuction

You will be asked to wear a compression garment for between 2-6 weeks depending on the site targeted by VASERlipo. It’s essential that this is worn consistently for the recommended period, as the garment reduces swelling and helps promote proper healing. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle and eating habits is also recommended to secure the results of liposuction procedures.
